- Cut bias finish strips the appropriate width using the laser-etched marking on the Fine Finish Ruler.
- To store the binding before using, gently wrap the bias strips, sewn end-to-end, around the length of the ruler counting each layer. Multiply by 12 for the inches of bias yardage. Remove from the ruler and label.
- Use the Piping Channel on the ruler to trim covered cord to a perfect 1/4" seam allowance.
- For cord, use 100% nylon #18 gauge white mason line. It wont shrink and is conveniently located at your local hardware store. Use #15 for miniature quilts, #36 for decorative pillows.
- To store all of your acrylic rotary cutting rulers, use The Rulers Keep, the finest ruler stand on the market. It won't tip over.
